• develop data load & transform and model development / execution on azure cloud
• help us build state of the art solutions that underpin Monitoring & surveillance models and alert generation using cutting edge technologies like Java/Scala, Spring Boot, Azure Data Lake, Kubernetes, Apache Spark, Postgres etc.
• demonstrate superior problem-solving skills
• demonstrate superior collaboration skills in working closely with other development, testing and implementation teams to roll-out important regulatory and business improvement programsThis will be an AD level role based in Pune, India with our growing development presence in the UBS India office.

Your expertiseYour expertise

• degree level education; preferablyputer Science (Bachelor or Master's degree)
• 7-10 years of hands-on design and development experience in several of the relevant technology areas (Java, Spring Boot, Azure Data Lake, Kubernetes, Apache Spark, Postgres etc.)
• strong coding skills in Java, Spring Boot and other Java based frameworks (must have)
• experience and expertise working in a microservices based architecture
• experience in working in a MS Azure (added advantage)
• experience in coding skills in Scala or PySpark (added advantage)
• have Agile, Test Driven Development and DevOps practices part of your DNA
• demonstrate strongmunication skills, both to senior management and teams
• background in IB or Finance domain with good understanding of finance principles (added advantage)
• strong analytical and problem solving skills
