Key Responsibilities:

• Customize and extend PrestaShop functionalities to meet client requirements.
• Develop and integrate custom modules and plugins for PrestaShop.
• Ensure security and scalability of PrestaShop installations.
• Create responsive and visually appealing front-end designs for e-commerce websites.
• Implement and optimize user interfaces to provide a seamless shopping experience across devices and browsers.
• Manage and optimize database operations for e-commerce platforms.
• Develop and maintain server-side scripts, APIs, and third-party integrations.
• Monitor and troubleshoot server and website performance issues.
• Implement SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings.
• Optimize website loading speed and overall performance for enhanced user experience.
• Integrate payment gateways, shipping options, and inventory management systems.
• Conduct thorough testing of website features, modules, and overall functionality.
• Identify and resolve bugs, compatibility issues, and other technical problems.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to code quality standards.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members.
• Document code, configurations, and development processes clearly.
• Create user guides and training materials as required.
• Stay updated with PrestaShop updates, industry trends, and best practices.
• Suggest and implement improvements leveraging emerging technologies and trends.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience as a PrestaShop Developer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with PrestaShop themes, modules, and plugin development.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices for e-commerce websites.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Relevant certifications in web development or e-commerce platforms are a plus.
