Job Summary
We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Psychiatric Social Worker (PSW) to work in a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Hospital. The candidate will support patients with mental illness through psychosocial interventions, family counselling, community reintegration, and rehabilitation planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychosocial assessments of patients and families.
- Provide individual, group, and family counselling sessions.
- Develop rehabilitation and discharge planning for patients.
- Coordinate community resources and support services.
- Maintain case records, progress notes, and reports.
- Assist in behaviour management and psychoeducation programs.
- Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and rehabilitation staff.
- Facilitate family meetings and caregiver support programs.
Eligibility Criteria
- MSW / MPhil in Psychiatric Social Work / Medical & Psychiatric Social Work.
- Experience in mental health, rehabilitation, or hospital setting preferred.
- Good communication, counselling, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
