Workingexperience in optimizing VMware for utilization of SAN storagevSphere Thin Provisioning Resource Pools Host Profiles and EMCpluginsExperience working with enterpriselevel network & storage networking (FC SANiSCSI10Gbetc.)Creation migration cloningsnapshots backup recovery and troubleshooting of Virtualmachines.

Experience in P2V vMotion andVMware virtual center.
Good understanding ofHA and DRS environment.
Knowledge of coreinternet protocols.

SMTP DNS FTP HTTPHTTPSSystem Maintenance and Upgrades:
Applypatches upgrades and security updates to VMware infrastructurecomponents. Perform regular system maintenance tasks includinghealth checks performance tuning andtroubleshooting.
Ability to create andmaintain excellent documentation is amust.
Good handson exp on virtual centre andknowledge of managing Virtual centredatabase.
Creating templates VM deploymentsand configuration. Assigning.
Attachingreleasing LUNS from ESX hosts.
Workingknowledge of ESX and Virtual center serverspatchingGood handson Experience indiagnostics & troubleshooting of ESX serverenvironment.
Taking snapshots and restoringsnapshots of VM SPrior experience with orknowledge of the ITIL Framework.


DesirableSkills:

Experience with HPservers.
Experience of working with VMC onAWS will be good.
Experience on Nutanix is aplus.
Knowledge and practice ofscripting.
VMware Site Recovery Manager andReplication.


Server Hardware:
Hands on Server Hardware for vendorsHPUnderstanding of AD service concepts andworkingInstallation configurationsmanagement updates monitoring and reportgenerating.
