    Summary:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our school's administrative team in Hyderabad. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial management, compliance with accounting standards, and seamless support for the school's operational needs. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, processing payments, managing budgets, and supporting financial reporting with precision and integrity. As a key member of the school's leadership team, this individual will contribute directly to the institution's fiscal health and long-term sustainability. 

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and transaction logs.
    • Process daily financial transactions, including payments, receipts, and vendor invoices.
    • Prepare and reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable on a regular basis.
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
    • Support budget planning and monitoring, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines and allocations.
    • Manage payroll processing in coordination with HR, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements, including filing deadlines.
    • Maintain secure and organized financial documentation and digital records.
    • Provide financial data and insights to school administrators to support strategic decision-making.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors during audits and financial reviews.


    Requirements

    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CA, CPA, or equivalent certification is preferred.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an educational or nonprofit environment.
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
    • Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance standards.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a high level of accuracy.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under deadlines while maintaining confidentiality.
    • Strong communication skills in English and Telugu, both written and verbal.
    • Local candidate from A.S. Rao Nagar or nearby areas required.
    • Willingness to work standard school hours and support occasional evening or weekend duties during audits or financial cycles.
