    The GIC Supply Chain team manages end-to-end operations, encompassing planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and analytics. They strategically plan to meet market demands, optimize sourcing, ensure efficient production, and oversee the seamless movement of goods from production to delivery. The team employs advanced analytics throughout these processes, fostering adaptability and operational excellence.     PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

    The Operations Analyst (OA) is a member of Global Sourcing Operations & Capabilities (GSOC) and will be an integral member, working collaboratively with Sourcing Buyers and Category leaders, the broader GSOC organization, and cross-functionally (i.e., Digital & Technology). As an OA, you will deploy standard operations, tools & processes by appropriately matching resources to support business priorities and drive results. Depending on the area of support, you may be partnering with both external suppliers and internal partners to support overall Sourcing initiatives. Effective communication, project management and change management/influence skills are imperative to lead stakeholders from customized processes to standard process. You will participate in governing standard process through reporting, analytics, and Source to Pay process support or project management.

    Each role is unique and allows the OA to contribute and develop in their own meaningful ways. Category specific support, broad initiative support and training of small teams may be required.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

    55% of time: Category and Buyer Support

  • Process Execution – including Category Specific
  • Budgeting/Contract Support
  • Category Mngt Analytics
  • Global OA support and initiatives - onboarding systems, tasks, context support, and leveraging standards.
  • E2E Execution including Forecast/RMWB, Contracting, New & Disco's Products, New Vendor set-up, Inventory/Waste Tracking
  • Budgeting: SP/MMO/MRB/Freight analysis, Vendor Allocation
  • Bidding Events: RFQ support – spec validation, requirements gathering, support value assessment.
  • Contract Mngt Process – Execution of SAP Time/volume contracts, uploading/reviewing signed contracts into the repository, manage contract
  • cycle, analyzing, webforms, T&C's
  • HCS Support: Category management analytics.
  • Facilitate and educate on S2P tools and resources.
  • Taxonomy and Spend Classification support.
  • Integration/ Acquisition/ Divestiture Support

  • 30% of time: System Optimization & Troubleshooting

  • Business & Platform Service Support
  • Systems expert (SAP, AFO, gal, Coupa, Maximo, gBuy, GEP Smart, GContracts) – site navigation, guidance, pulling/formatting reports, purchasing transactions & escalations (POs, Invoices, catalog price changes).
  • A/P process, payment terms and Taulia execution and support
  • Inbound Logistics escalation and other (replenishment, inventory management, forecast/new products/RMWB, waste, disco)
  • Work with PSS support
  • Delivery Issues, New Goods Shipped # setup.
  • GoBuy, Ask the link & Tail Spend support – site navigation guidance, support buyers with key document maintenance (preferred vendor list, taxonomy
  • Optimization Opportunities within tools & processes.
  • Continual update of Buyer Matrix and Preferred/Approved Vendor work.
  • Data Analytics and drive HMM savings

  • 15% of time: Internal & External Relationship Management

  • P2P Policy Champion
  • Quality Customer Service for clients
  • Support vendors with invoicing guidance (ex. AP issues)
  • Facilitate and Lead Vendor/Stakeholder through new vendor set up.
  • Adhoc troubleshooting & maintenance requests.
  • Escalation points for key stakeholders (PSS, AP, Plants etc.)
  • Supplier Change & Performance Management (switching suppliers)
  • Risk Management (deliveries, contracts, inventory)
  • Quality Issue Resolution Support
  • Communicate to key stakeholders and receive continual feedback.
  • Ensure vendors are integrated properly in various systems (SAP/MRB/Coupa/Maximo and Vendor Contacts)
  • Contacting Carriers/Answering Carrier Questions
  • Monthly Rebate Check Additional Information:

    This role would liaison with the buyers in the India Sourcing foods business team to support the P2P and New Product Development operational work.

  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum Degree Requirements: Full Time graduation from an accredited university (Mandatory)
  • Minimum years of related experience required: 3 to 7
  • Specific Job Experience or Skills Needed:

  • Some material management expertise shall be preferable.
  • Competencies/Behaviors required for the job:
  • Basic data analysis skills, hands-on experience of working on excel.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preferred Degree Requirements: Bachelors/Masters
  • Preferred Major Area of Study: Supply Chain, Procurement
  • Preferred Professional Certifications: CSCMP
