About the Internship

CropXplore is building a hyperlocal Agritech Platform-as-a-Service combining agriculture drones, crop monitoring, AI-driven insights, and farmer-focused operations. The Agritech Operations Intern will support on-ground execution, coordination with farmers, and daily operational activities while gaining hands-on exposure to modern agritech systems.

This internship is designed as a learning-first role offering real-world experience in agricultural operations, technology deployment, and rural field coordination.

Key ResponsibilitiesField Operations Support

• Assist in planning and executing daily drone spraying and monitoring activities
• Support coordination between drone pilots, fellows, and field teams
• Help manage schedules, locations, and on-ground logistics

Farmer Coordination

• Act as a point of contact for farmers during field operations
• Support farmer onboarding, demonstrations, and awareness sessions
• Communicate service details and safety instructions clearly

Data & Reporting

• Collect basic field data (crop type, acreage, spray details)
• Update operational records and simple reports
• Assist in documenting field activities and outcomes

Logistics & Station Support

• Support drone station activities such as equipment handling and battery logistics
• Assist in inventory tracking and movement of field equipment
• Coordinate local transport and routing for field teams

Learning & Skill Development

• Participate in training on agronomy basics, drone operations, and agritech tools
• Observe crop monitoring and AI-based insights generation
• Support demonstrations and pilot programs

Eligibility

• Kannada knowledge preferred
