    Job Description:

    As a Technical Designer, you will play a crucial role in translating design concepts into detailed technical drawings and specifications. Your primary responsibility is to prepare & ensure the accuracy and quality of technical output, including 2D drawings, detailing, cutlist and material specifications.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • 2D Drawings and Detailing:

    -Create detailed 2D drawings, including plans, elevations, and sections, using AutoCAD as per client requirements and designer's specifications.

    -Ensure comprehensive detailing and annotation to accurately represent project requirements.

    -Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for internal components of kitchen, wardrobes, and storage units, adhering to design standards and client preferences.

    • Site Validation and Incorporation of Changes:

    -Participate in site validation processes alongside the design and project management teams to identify discrepancies.

    -Incorporate changes and rectify errors identified during site validation into the design documentation promptly.

    • Cutlist and Bill of Materials (BOM) Preparation:

    -Generate comprehensive cutlists detailing the type and size of materials required for each project component.

    -Ensure accuracy in reflecting project specifications and requirements in the cutlists and BOMs.

    • Material Optimization:Analyze drawings and specifications to optimize material usage and minimize waste, contributing to cost-effective project execution.
    • Quality Control: Adhere to quality standards for all technical outputs, ensuring precision and accuracy in drawings and specifications.

    Requirements:

    • AutoCAD Proficiency: Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is essential for this role.
    • Education: Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Interior Design.
    • Experience: 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with a focus on residential interiors and furniture manufacturing.
    • Technical Expertise: Previous experience in preparing Reflected Ceiling Plan layouts, false ceiling detailing, custom furniture drawings, electrical, lighting, and plumbing layouts.
    • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, cutlist and BOM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
    • Knowledge and Experience: Familiarity with cutlist and BOM preparation processes, as well as an understanding of material selection and optimization techniques.
    • Stay updated with the latest hardware solutions and production techniques relevant to interior design projects.
