    Description

    Minimum Education Qualification

    B.E / B.Tech. (Mech, Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechatronics or similar field)

    Skills/Competencies

    Good Understanding of Test & Measurement (primarily Deflection/Strain, Temperature & Vibration)

    Experience with DAQ Systems (NI Labview / TestStand preferred)

    Understand the importance of Calibration & Plausibility Checks

    Ability to select all elements of a measurement chain (Sensor, Amplifier, Filter, ADC)

    Understand importance of good quality wiring & connections (Ground loops / shielding etc.)

    Ablilty to correlate measurement data with predictions & explain discrepancies & differences

    Understanding of Statistical Experiment Planning (DoE) and Measurement Uncertainty (good to have)

    Understanding of Reliability concepts (good to have)

    Python or other Scientific / Engineering Calculation Tools & programming (good to have)

    Certifications

    LabView Certification (good to have)

    CRE (Certified Reliability Expert) - (good to have)

    Minimum Experience (in Years) 1-2 Years (E3) or 3-6 Years (E4)

    Ensure the on-time delivery of project deliverables by coordinating and monitoring project timelines. (Test Plan, Measurement & Documentation)

    Maintain detailed Minutes of Meetings (MOM) and promptly share updates and action items across teams to ensure effective communication and follow-up.

    Demonstrate proficiency in exploring diverse measurement methodologies, validation procedures, and formulating standardized operating protocols to enhance capabilities.

    Create and maintain comprehensive reports in both Word and presentation formats, summarizing test results, recommendations, and key findings.

    Collaborate with the Design / CAE Teams to establish requirements & testing methods

    Interpret test data effectively and convey the findings to the project team, highlighting insights and implications for design improvements.
