    Key responsibilities include

    • Provide leadership and direction for the development of proposals and delivery of initiatives, in collaboration with clients and colleagues, for all new implementation projects
    • Provide thought leadership and direction for a team of full-stack engineers, DevOps and SRE
    • Coach our delivery teams in modern engineering practices, striving to ensure that your team can build, test and release software with the short lead times and a minimum of waste.
    • Work to develop and maintain a highly automated Continuous Delivery pipeline.
    • Strive to Contribute towards a culture of learning and continuous improvement within your team and beyond
    • Collaborate with other teams to build systems and integrate them together. Collaborate with others across the department to share ideas, skills and code. Create and participate in communities of practice across Bank technology
    • Ensure that the software you build is reliable and easy to support in production.
    • A good understanding of Cloud concepts is a plus.

    Skills & Qualifications:

    Technology Skills:

    • 18+ years of technical and functional experience in financial industry app development with technologies such as: Java, Springboot, React JS, Kafka, Cloud, CI/CD, Dev Ops, Test Automation.
    • Progressive engineering hands on development experience to lead engineering teams.
    • Experience running high availability low latency platforms
    • Strong Agile skills with running Dev Ops, IT Risk and control, SRE squads.

    Team Management:

    • Experience with people development with respect to training, upskilling, providing right opportunities within India and global squads.
    • Promotes engineering culture and improves productivity amongst India FTE and vendor staff. Grooms and coaches the team providing proper career progression.
    • Excellent skills and appetite to maintain risk & control hygiene. Streamline ITAO processes with automation.
    • Will require broader promotion of people strategy activities with in CB Tech India.
    • Recruits additional talent in a timely manner, grows the team in India with new skills such as Workfusion AI, Blockchain & Tokenization.
