- Experience in day to day Exadata DMA activities like:
- Increase or decrease CPU Core count on compute node
- Provide support for hardware ) on exadata racks
- Shutdown or reboot cell without impacting ASM
- Run exachk, sosreport, sundiag and ilom snpashots to diagnosis exadata health check
- Clearing correctable memory errors from faultmgmt shell
- Experience in Exadata configuration activities like:
- ASR configuration and addressing ILOM incidents
- Experience in installation of new Exadata setup using OEDA and Reimage compute nodes
- Experience in ZDLRA, ILOM and Exadata full stack patching.
- Experience in ExaCC/ExaCS or any other engineered system like Supercluster is an added advantage.
- Extensive knowledge and solid troubleshooting experience in the following areas:
- ASM, Performance tuning, Data Guard (Physical and Logical), DG Broker
- Experience in handling complex database recovery scenarios
- Experience in database migrations and upgrades
- Experience in troubleshooting various installation and patching issues
- Experience in Golden Gate replication
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure - quick thinking and remaining calm during stressful situations
- Willingness to work in shifts and on weekends
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical issues
- Appetite to learn new technologies and constantly improve technical skills.
