    Job Title: Presales Manager

    The Presales Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that the presales team is equipped with the necessary knowledge, tools, and resources to effectively demonstrate and sell the company's products or services.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design sales strategies by extensive competitor mapping and demonstration of business opportunities
    • Work closely with the sales team to close RFPs and ensure team follow-up on proposals submitted
    • Design architecture of new solutions and work with the operations team to build execution capabilities
    • Engage with customers to understand their needs and derive advice for prospective products/services that are aligned with the customers' demands
    • Ensure extensive market research is done for all products/services for which RFPs are being prepared
    • Ensure detailed financial feasibility is conducted for all projects
    • Interface with government bodies and major institutional clients to understand sector-specific trends and potential opportunities available to us
    • Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports
    • Design sustainable and profitable project financial models
    • Identify financial performance trends and financial risk, and make recommendations
    • Provide recommendations for improvement based on trends

    Key Performance Indicators

    • Percentage of successful bids
    • Setting up of automated process to track projects and assist decision making
    • Bring latest trends in the ICT/Education/Finance/Healthcare segment
    • Identification of Critical Success Factors for winning Tenders
    • Achieve assigned productivity and profitability quotas

    Key Interactions

    Internal:

    • Sales Team - Understanding opportunities and working on business models
    • Operations Team - Understanding operational nuances and viability of project
    • IT Team - Setting up of automated model to track projects and assist decision making
    • Admin, HR, Finance, IT - Interfacing for any people or operational issues

    External:

    • Government/Institutional clients - Relationship management to map competition activities, understand industry trends, and benchmark us

    Competencies Required for the Role

    Knowledge:

    • Experience in Consulting/EdTech/BFSI/Infrastructure/Social Development sectors preferred
    • Must have worked in Business Strategy and Project Management
    • Experience of PPP projects is desirable
    • Outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skills
    • Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis

    Qualification:

    • M.A. Social Work/Economics/MBA C.A./C.S. with 5-7 years of experience in managing Government/Institutional clients
