    About the Role:

    P&C Solutions is an innovative and rapidly growing part of Swiss Re's reinsurance business, which offers innovative and digital Solutions to complement SwissRe's capabilities in conjunction with traditional risk transfer.

    As P&C Solutions Operations Analyst, you serve as an integral member of RCA Ops team and as a business partner for strategic and operational support to RCA.

    In this role, you will perform day-to-day operational activities along with the team, along with continuously aiming for operational excellence. You will be interacting with the external and internal clients on a daily basis to help resolve issues, analyze process gaps and identify process automation wherever required. Part of the job is also to help with usage, and contract status reports for the stakeholders and/or Management Team. You further drive efficiency optimization and contribute to overall strategy and client service for P&C Solutions

    Key Responsibilities:

    Support RCA Ops in a range of operational management activities and bringing rigour and discipline to various related activities.

    Work effectively with internal and external stakeholders to support a broad range of operational, and reporting activities at various levels

    Support communication of key RCA activities on SharePoint portal and other relevant mediums

    Drive operational optimization by constantly identifying opportunities and managing issue resolution

    Be integral part of the business growth enabler team, identifying operational excellence and automation at each stage

    First level user support according to KPI's in place

    Streamlining processes and collaborating with stakeholders for timely & quality delivery

    Identify process inefficiencies through gap analysis and outline sensible solutions

    Promote solutions externally at local client events, conferences etc.

    Promote solutions internally at SR Bangalore, build a strong network with local client managers

    About you and Qualifications:

    Educational background and professional experience

    • University degree or equivalent
    • Experienced professional with at least 3 years' experience, preferably in the re/insurance industry
    • Experience in dealing with senior stakeholders
    • Previous experience in an operations role seen as positive

    Technical and analytical skills

    • Sophisticated user of MS Office suite (in particular Excel)
    • Organization skills previously demonstrated through project, team or committee management.
    • Analytical skills regarding technical and financial reinsurance data
    • Ability to present complex situations in an easily understandable way

    Interpersonal and communication skills

    • Comfortable in fast-paced environment
    • Strategic thinker, data-driven and analytical in approach to solving problems
    • Ability to navigate a vague environment and juggle multiple parallel activities
    • Very driven, positive self-starter & strong focus on ownership and execution
    • Team player
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Cultural sensitivity; knows how to interact effectively in various business cultures
    • Growth mindset, curious to learn and continuously develop
    • Mastery of the English language, with additional languages being a valued asset
