    Overview:


    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Testing Lead with expertise in banking systems to join our team.

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of software testers in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions.


    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Lead a team of software testers in planning, designing, and executing comprehensive test strategies and test plans for banking software applications.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and provide input on testability, scalability, and reliability.
    • Define and implement testing processes, methodologies, and best practices specific to banking domain applications.
    • Establish and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools to streamline the testing process and increase efficiency.
    • Perform risk analysis and prioritize testing efforts based on business impact and criticality.
    • Track and report on testing progress, defects, and quality metrics to stakeholders, including management and project teams.
    • Mentor and coach team members to enhance their technical skills and domain knowledge in banking systems.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements in the banking domain to continuously improve testing practices.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in software testing, with at least 5 years of experience in a lead or managerial role.
    • Extensive knowledge of banking systems, including core banking, payment processing, and regulatory compliance.
    • Proven experience in developing and executing test strategies, test plans, and test cases for complex banking applications.
    • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
    • Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, HP UFT, or similar.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals.
    • Relevant certifications such as ISTQB Certified Tester, Certified Software Test Engineer (CSTE), or similar, are a plus.
