    Role Title: RPA Business Analyst

    Position Summary:

    The primary responsibility for this role is to help build the intelligent automation pipeline for the Cigna enterprise by analyzing automation ideas and helping determine their value and viability. This role requires you to be able to understand business processes in operations across all domains in our enterprise, and also understand and help determine technologies we can use to help create business value. The IA analyst will be responsible for collaborating and eliciting information from a wide variety of stakeholders in the business and IT and the right candidate will have hunger to learn on the job and add value to the business.

    In this role, you will actively partner with Intelligent Automation COE leadership, business stakeholders, operational excellence teams, subject matter experts, application delivery teams and architects on initiatives that support Cigna's strategic goals centered on using intelligent automation tools (RPA, RDA, AI, ML, Chabot's etc) to help improve operational efficiency, enhance capacity utilization and improve stakeholder experiences across the Cigna enterprise.

    Job Description & Responsibilities:

    • Analyze business automation ideas that have been submitted
    • Interact and engage with operational excellence teams and business process owners to understand process and value drivers using automation
    • Understand/determine process steps that can be automated
    • Determine the overall value of an automation idea by analyzing multiple value drives like efficiency, risk, improved productivity etc
    • Determine automation viability by analyzing complexity and technological feasibility
    • Help calculate value/viability score for an automation idea
    • Interact and collaborate with a wide variety of business and IT stakeholders across the Cigna enterprise
    • Have a solid understanding of the intelligent automation tools and technologies (Eg, RPA, RDA, Chatbots, AI, ML) and their applicability to automation ideas
    • Passionate about learning about new intelligent automation technologies and tools as they evolve in the marketplace and how they may help solve business challenges
    • Transition knowledge of approved automation ideas to technical delivery teams

    Experience Required:

    • Required experience as an analyst in software development or process engineering
    • Prior experience working with intelligent automation tools – especially robotics

    Experience Desired:

    • Prior entrepreneurial or startup experience is desirable
    • Knowledge and experience with agile development is desired
