    Description

    Due to increased investment and the ongoing expansion of our team in India, we are actively seeking candidates for multiple positions within our software engineering team.

    Software Engineer - .NET (Applications)The

    Software Engineer - .NET

    is an experienced professional who participates in leading, creating and extending Omnicell products. This person is a highly skilled developer who can apply industry and corporate best practices to produce quality applications.

    This person applies their practical and theoretical knowledge from Computer Science and previous experience in Healthcare or a related industry.

    This person works as part of a team to design and develop new products as well as maintain Omnicell's current portfolio.


    Responsibilities:
    Collaborate with product management to understand business requirements and plan products and features.

    Manages and simplifies complex issues and also collaborates with and may lead functional or cross-functional teams to generate solutions to complex problems.

    Recommends technical, process and procedural enhancements to drive the effectiveness of company systems and applications.
    Work as part of a team to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve softwareAuthoritative technical or functional expertise.

    Assist in providing technical leadership for the architecture, design, and implementation of Omnicell software solutionsAble to link data, knowledge and insight from various disciplines to support problem identification, analysis, and resolution.

    Presents problem analysis and recommended solutions in a creative and logical manner.
    Provides system, application, network, process and policy advice to peers, colleagues and clients.


    Required Knowledge and Skills:
    Significant experience developing application using C# and .Net Framework.
    Working experience with Angular.

    Experience in many of the following areas:

    Building web-based applications and RESTful API's Deploying service oriented and microservices architectures Building event-driven architectures using messaging systems/service bus, such as Kafka or RabbitMQDeploying applications in the public cloud using technologies like Azure, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, GIT.Thoughtful about creating the right architecture but realizing the realities of having customers and the need to shipping software.

    Should be able to take ownership of solution provided and deliver itA can-do attitude and ability to make a positive impact our culture.


    Basic Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree10+ years' experience in software engineering10+ year of Experience in C# and the .

    NET Framework5+ year of experience in Angular 8 or abovePreferred Knowledge and Skills:
    Master's degree in Engineering/IT/Computer Science7+ years of experience with a microservices architecture5+ years of public cloud experience3+ year of inventory / warehouse management
