Operate in complex highlysecurehighlyavailable operationscentric datacenter environments andinteract with other technology domain experts as required to buildand maintain the Open Systems Storage and Backups solutions inthose datacenter environments. This position requires a candidatewith strong hands on technical Administrator professional withbusiness acumen. Responsible for mentoring junior team membersdeveloping ITIL procedures and best practices standards. Work withother Disciplines to develop Infrastructure Building Blocks basedReference Architectures and standards that can be offered asservices to our customers. Assist in change management processes.
Improve the efficiency and help standardize current processes.
Respond to and resolve incident and problem tickets.
Document andthoroughly understand the application architecture systemconfiguration across platforms and interface with various systemsand use this knowledge effectively to resolve issues Work closelywith customer support team to communicate the root cause of theoutage duration and recommendations or steps to resolve issuesParticipate in Service Improvement Meetings after an applicationoutage.
Respond to general inquiries.
