    Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide support for Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) and ASM
    • Demonstrate strong understanding of database and operating system concepts
    • Administer Oracle databases in a high availability environment, including implementing upgrades
    • Participate in client/project meetings for needs assessment and design review
    • Analyze user needs and develop technical specifications for database systems
    • Design, implement, and maintain databases for internal and external users
    • Establish standards to monitor and improve database capacity and performance
    • Write necessary code and develop data import/export routines
    • Hold Oracle certification and have experience with Hadoop
    • Experience with GoldenGate, VeriData, and Streams is a plus
    • Install, administer, and upgrade Oracle 10G, 11g, and 12c
    • Minimum 5 years of Oracle DBA experience in a production environment
    • 5 to 7 years of Oracle DBA experience with both 10g and 11g versions
