    Job Summary:
    EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) consists of various service delivery centres from which Client Service and Enablement Services teams operate to deliver strategic support to EY member firms. GDS spans all geographies, practices, services lines, sectors and competencies within EY to deliver integrated services that result in efficient and world-class solutions. This position is with the Deal Management CoE in the EY GDS MBA Function. The GDS Deal Management CoE serves as an extension to the onshore pursuit teams who are involved in the direct bid management process. The Deal Management CoE supports the onshore teams in a variety of ways, adding value during the pursuit process/bid management cycle.

    The UK & Ireland (UK&I) Pursuit and Self-Serve Coordinator (PSSC) will provide support in the different phases of the pursuit process. This role will support the onshore Pursuit Strategists in all the stages of the bid management process, including the pre-RFP, RFP and post-RFP phases. The range of activities will include bid co-ordination, project management, document and diagram management, research, review and analytical support for the onshore pursuit team throughout the bid management cycle. This role will support in executing globally consistent strategy, methodology and process as defined by the Global Markets Activation Team (MAT) Leadership.

    The PSSC will also manage, maintain, own and drive the UK&I Self-Serve SharePoint platform supported by a GDS administrator. While a UK&I Pursuit Leader will be accountable for the UK&I Self-Serve SharePoint platform, the responsibility of running the platform will sit with the PSSC. The platform houses the UK&I pursuit library and best in class pursuit tools, tips and templates required by the service lines to complete pursuits that have been identified as requiring 'supported self-help' support only. The PSSC will be responsible for uploading and curating self-help content, tracking usage, driving adoption through demos and curating regular updates/communications, maintaining frequently asked questions (FAQ) responses, and developing materials to maximise their understanding and utilisation of self-service tools and resources.
    The PSSC will be a point of contact to guide and direct service users to available answers to common and standard PQQ/RFI/RFP questions, as well as other pursuit resources.

    Essential Functions of the Job:

    Managing the Deal Activation self-serve site

  • Sourcing the very best pursuit materials and tools from our global network
  • Leveraging tools that support a UK&I pursuit process and or proposal , tracking and assessment tools
  • Helping teams in creating UK&I pursuit templates for on brand and quick proposal production
  • Collating pursuit tips and guidance such as tip videos and guides
  • Keeping the pursuit library up to date with UK&I proposals and pitch examples by service line, sector and solution
  • Updating the A-Z UK&I links and key pursuit contacts
  • Expedited access to Deal Activation assessment and support via a request form
  • Dedicated helpdesk point of contact for pursuit queries and to direct users to the right content and resources
  • Manage links to global pursuit collateral and resources
  • Support in identifying responses to typical RFI/PQQ type questions
  • Provide quarterly updates on usage of site content, site visits and trends
  • Have a process in place to ensure all assets on the site are up-to-date
  • Continuous improvement – retrieving and building on user feedback
  • Regular cadence with the Self-Help Lead and service lines points of contacts and knowledge and innovation leads to ensure the site remains fit for purpose and drive relevant activities
  • Strategic Pursuit and Opportunity Management

  • Contribute to the execution of pursuit methodology and support in the development of research packs, stakeholder profiles, credentials, market share data and competitor analysis
  • Source information from relevant internal sources and teams in order to collate and review information logically, producing high quality outputs in a timely manner
  • Set up and drive a project management plan throughout the bid (pursuit) cycle with critical milestones, coordinating with both onshore and offshore teams
  • Act as a point of contact in managing the end-to-end process, evaluating requirements, organising meetings, preparing meeting notes, finalising timelines, and accountabilities as per deadlines
  • Assist the onshore team in bid management activities including development of kick-off documents, CV collation, sending calendar invites, booking meeting rooms and preparing material for presentations
  • Liaise with other internal teams and design teams in the development and production of client collaterals such as storyboards, placemats, proposals, and internal presentations
  • Establish and maintain clear and transparent communication with stakeholders building productive relationships adhering to agreed timelines for deliverables and meeting expected quality benchmarks
  • Support in the development of draft proposal sections based on RFP/proposal requirements that are client-focused and innovative
  • Organise the quality review process, provide direction and coordinate support services, as required/as appropriate
  • Exhibit innovative thinking and a flexible approach while managing complex and out-of-scope requests
  • Support the team in maintaining a repository of recent client presentations, responses, marketing collateral, etc.
