JobPurpose and Impact

TheAssistant Plant Manager will provide strategic operationaloversight for all production operating facilities with a moderatepresence in multiple regions or a moderate degree of complexity. Inthis role you will oversee and hold operating facilitiesaccountable to standards for safety quality operationaleffectiveness and financialperformance.

KeyAccountabilities

• Executeroutine operations of assigned areas ensuring direct reports arefollowing policies and procedures related to employee food and feedsafety and environmental compliance.
• Monitorproduction outcomes quantity and quality to ensure customer andfood safety requirements are withinspecifications.
• Partner with productionsupervisors to meet customer specifications andtimelines.
• Administer production budget for adepartment process or shift and execute purchase orders and ensuretimely payment of invoices
• Develop operationalplans and monitor routine operations for all production processesfor multiple departments processes andshifts.
• Develop supervise and provide coachingto direct reports including coaching company core values andguiding principles for assigned facilities orregions.
• Responsible for personnel decisionsrelated to hiring performance and disciplinary actions for yourdirect reports. You will also spend time completing the same tasksas employees on your team.

MinimumQualifications

• Bachelorsdegree in a related field or equivalentexperience
