We are seeking a skilled and motivated WordPress Developer to join our Web Development team. The ideal candidate is proficient in WordPress development, has a strong understanding of web technologies, and can create visually appealing and functional websites. The WordPress Developer will collaborate with designers, content creators, and other developers to deliver high-quality websites that meet client requirements.

Responsibilities:

Website Development:

• Build and customize WordPress websites using best practices in front-end and back-end development.
• Implement responsive design to ensure optimal performance across various devices and screen sizes.
• Create custom themes, plugins, and templates to enhance website functionality.

Content Integration:

• Collaborate with content creators and designers to integrate multimedia content, images, videos, and interactive elements into websites.
• Optimize content for better user experience and page load speed.

1. Plugin Management:

• Research, select, and configure appropriate WordPress plugins to enhance website features and functionality.
• Customize and extend plugins as needed to meet specific project requirements.

Custom Functionality:

• Develop custom functionality and features based on client specifications and project goals.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues related to website performance, functionality, and compatibility.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with designers to implement pixel-perfect designs and ensure the visual integrity of websites.
• Collaborate with other developers to ensure consistent coding practices and knowledge sharing.

Security and Optimization:

• Implement security best practices to safeguard websites against vulnerabilities and potential threats.
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, and search engine visibility.

Quality Assurance:

• Conduct thorough testing of websites across different browsers, devices, and screen resolutions to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Fix bugs and issues identified during testing and QA processes.

Continuous Learning:

• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in WordPress development and web technologies.
• Incorporate new tools and techniques into development processes to improve efficiency and quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio of WordPress websites.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
• Experience working with front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with website performance optimization techniques and SEO best practices.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail in coding and troubleshooting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Basic design skills and familiarity with graphic design tools is a plus.
