Role : Senior cloud architect

Work location : Remote

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement Azure AD IAM solutions to ensure secure and efficient access management across cloud environments.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IAM best practices into cloud architecture designs and deployments.

- Assess and enhance existing IAM frameworks, policies, and procedures to align with industry standards and compliance requirements.

- Develop Azure Infrastructure as Code (bicep / terraform).

- Develop and maintain AAD PIM JiT IAM.

- Troubleshoot and resolve any Azure AD IAM related issues.

- Monitor and optimize Azure AD IAM performance.

- Provide guidance and best practices to other team members.

- Stay updated with emerging IAM technologies and industry trends, implementing innovative solutions where applicable.

To be successful in this role, we believe that you should have :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 5+ years of proven experience as a Cloud Architect, with a specific focus on IAM in cloud environments.

- In-depth knowledge of IAM principles, including authentication, authorization, SSO, and privilege management.

- Proficiency in Azure Active Directory (AAD), Privileged Identity Management (PIM), Just-in-Time (JiT) access.

- Strong experience in Azure Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep, Terraform, or similar technologies.

- Excellent understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance standards.

- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively and collaborate with diverse teams.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Other qualifications which would be beneficial :

- Certifications in relevant cloud platforms

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments.

- YAML process flows (Azure DevOps pipelines, Github actions or similar)

- Experience with best practices for Agile development in SAFe framework or similar

- Experience with GxP validation processes

- Experience with Pharma and understanding of the Clinical Data Domain

- Other related experience within software or cloud development
