We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Java Production Support Specialist to join our team.

About This Role

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Java development and experience in supporting production systems.

Monitor and support production systems to ensure high availability and performance
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Java applications, including but not limited to performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and system failures
Collaborate with Operations teams to implement fixes and enhancements to production systems
Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents and implement preventive measures

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues. You will also be working closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and infrastructure teams, to ensure smooth deployment and integration of new features and applications.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 4 to 7 years of experience in Java development and production support
Experience with troubleshooting and debugging Java applications in a production environment
Experience on Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace, Service Now
Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Oracle, My SQL, etc.)
Proficiency in Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting
