    Position Overview:
    Regional Sales Manager - ChennaiThis position seeks an experienced and results-driven salesperson to join our energetic team.

    This role would provide appropriate product solutions for our customers/clients and nurture them through our purchase flow from start to finish.

    Candidates for this position should prioritize customer care, acquisition, and company profitability.
    Generating leads & achieving the set sales targets in the defined region / segment / sector.

    Generation and branding the company's image for further requirement, all key business goals, objectives and set KPI.Role includes but not limited to the development of the department and the company at large.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIEScore values of safety and integrity and good compliance, which meansresponsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues customer requirement/specifications and matching to the company's standards and offer competitive getting the Customer/Consultant drawing approvals and getting the PO, prepare the Order Review Sheet and supporting documents for initiating design & production process.

    Follow up with Customer for ABG, PBG or against proforma Invoice & ensure to follow the credit norms judiciously and focus on timely collection to meet the target (stick to payment the customers & the internal dispatch team to ensure quality, specification and time-lines are met as per the customer requirement.interact with existing customers to know the future requirement or proposals.

    Market scanning and competitor mapping for gathering market intelligence develop the HPS brand awareness, identification of new sites and sources of lead generation in the defined region / segment / sector / market / etc.

    as per the targets and business development with client strategies.& Review MIS reports along with Weekly & Monthly Reports of the sales and work-in- the yearly budget sales target is set to each individual, and the same is reviewed on weekly basis.

    This review is on enquires, order-booking, sale, collection, & developing new customers/clients.
    ACCOUNTABILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURESsales target as defined within the set time and support strong client relationships and networks with continuous improvement in different market new customers, client & business units and retaining the make recommendations, provide guidance to effectively bring projects to booking and collection as per AOP, Acquisition of new Customers and Customer Retention

    ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENTto Vertical Head – Industries & Infrastructurecoordinates with company executive, all stake holders & partners as appropriate.

    QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES & WORK CONDITIONSEngineering Degree (BE/B.Tech) in Electrical or Mechanical or equivalent degree., Masters in Engineering or Business Administration is Sales, Business Development & Networkingwith Electrical and Mechanical Engineering concepts for supportingsales & marketing functions, preferable experience in transformers industry.15 to 20 years' of progressive sales experience with strong focus on business development, revenue generation, customer relations and strong experience in transformers industry handling business sales in Transmission & Distribution, EPCs, OEM, Industries such as manufacturing, oil & gas, mining etc.

    and medium voltage switchgear product or in any Power Utility Business would be an , written communication, interpersonal and motivational skills.understanding / experience of business development process through consultants and other influencers.

    Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization and execution knowledge to understand domestic & global market scenario in line with HPS stand.attention to detail and high degree of innovative thinking with fresh approaches.management and strong ability in handling stress and to work on deadlines.leadership skills, with strong focus on operations and business processes.project management, leadership skills & team management.credibility, integrity, discretion, diplomacy, flexibility, emotional intelligence.working knowledge in MS office, analyzing data in presentable/required forms (spreadsheets/presentations/etc.)language is a must along with fluency in English & travel intensively and on short notice.position will be based in our office/branch/region in India.prospective employees must pass a background and Health checks.
