Job Overview:

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing large datasets, identifying trends, and generating actionable insights to inform strategic initiatives and drive business performance. Leveraging your expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex business problems and optimize processes. Responsibilities:

Lead the analysis of large datasets to extract meaningful insights and identify trends, patterns, and correlations that drive business value
Develop and implement statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and predictive analytics techniques to forecast business metrics, detect anomalies, and optimize decision-making processes
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project objectives, and translate business needs into actionable data analysis and reporting solutions
Design and develop data visualizations, dashboards, and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to communicate insights and facilitate data-driven decision-making
Conduct exploratory data analysis, data cleansing, and data preprocessing to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of datasets
Mentor junior analysts, providing guidance on data analysis techniques, best practices, and tools, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and methodologies in data analysis, attending conferences, workshops, and training sessions as appropriate

Mandatory Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred
4+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles, with a focus on analyzing large datasets and generating actionable insights
Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and querying from relational databases
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or similar for data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar for creating interactive dashboards and reports
Solid understanding of statistical concepts, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and predictive modeling techniques

Qualities:

Excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking abilities, and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present complex findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
