    PRIMARY DUTIES

    Procurements for Direct Raw Material, Finish Goods & Packaging Material : -

  • Implement the right procurement processes to ensure on time delivery of RM/RM/FG as per the production plan & Sales Orders.
  • Sustainable implementation of the business processes in the Supply Chain. Adherence to Global / Local quality standards.
  • Manage the short term and long-term purchase planning of the plant.
  • Accurate RM Inventory Management ensuring the completion of the short term and long-term production planning.
  • Manage the raw material supply, mainly import, in accordance with the global policies and co-ordination with the EIMEA Sourcing department.
  • Import of products from Global HB Fuller Sites & Global suppliers.
  • Managing Imports according to the customs/excise/import polices.
  • Custom clearance, Logistics coordination for all Import & local shipments and resolve all queries related to all logistic related services.
  • Purchase invoice passing and handing over the purchase documents to accounts.
  • Follow up of Vendor Payments & Ensuring Compliance to Payment Process
  • Statutory
  • Implementation of the EXIM processes in the Purchase department, fulfilling all requirements of the Excise, Custom and Import law.
  • Adherence to Global Sourcing Policy.
  • Prepare MIS report of Purchase activities.
  • Coordination with Sourcing, Planning, Warehouse team for smooth flow of supply.
  • Audit

  • Assist Internal / External Statutory Audits in compliance with HBF Legal Norms as well as local statutory codes as applicable.
  • P&L responsibility

    The individual is direct responsible for all costs in the Pune plant that are linked with the Purchase department: Inventory of raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods. Shipping and Inward costs Import costs and duties. The individual will create an annual budget in function of volumes planned. The individual will also create monthly updates of the budget within the outlook process. Product raw material costing. Implement and maintain the right level of employee satisfaction.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • 3 to 5 years' experience as Purchase Executive in an Chemical or similar production environment.
  • Experience in Import/Exports process.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • The individual has a good set of people skills (communication, decision making, teamwork etc.)

  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Chemical Engineer, BSC/MSC Chemical, MBA.
  • Min. 6 year experience similar production environment
  • PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT
