Job Description Summary: Provides high-level medical writing support within accounts, achieving writing excellence across therapy areas and the communication mix.
Job Description:
Writing & Editing:
Achieves a consistently excellent quality of medical writing
Demonstrates strong briefing and reviewing skills
Ensures internal and external comments are addressed intelligently and questions any that are inappropriate, inaccurate or unclear
Scientific Content and Expertise:
Intimately understands client and competitor products, therapy areas, portfolio and commercial strategy in the context of the current and future market
Works across several accounts/therapy areas to support junior writers
Client Services & Business Development:
Acts as the Technical Lead on designated, large client projects
Works with account teams and senior leadership to ensure all account objectives are met
Builds relationships and liases effectively with clients and external experts
Troubleshoots or handles objections from clients or opinion leaders
Identifies opportunities to maximise existing client accounts
Provides high-level writing support for proposal development and actively participates in pitch development
When appropriate, contributes to development of project specifications, cost estimates and reconciliations
Communicates clearly to team members schedule and budget guidelines and contributes to prioritisation discussions across teams
