- Bachelorsor Masters degree in Mechanical engineering or relatedfield
- 8 years of FEAexperience with industrial heavy engineering domains; experience inconsumer electronics domain would be addedadvantage
- Creating FiniteElement Models of various parts / assemblies in AltairHypermesh/SIMLAB and solving in Abaqus as primarytool
- Interpreting analysis results with respectto results obtained by lab testing procedures converting FEAresults into practical design for the givengeometry
- Thorough understanding of FEM modelingtechniques including Abaqus element types structure idealizationbolted connections contact results verification methodsetc.
- Experience with linear / nonlinear staticfinite element analysis of consumer electronicsproducts
- System level drop or dynamic impactsimulation experience structural analysis and structural designexperience with a good understanding in tradeoffs of systemintegrations of electronic devices
- Experiencewith variety of material characterization methods for plasticsadhesives glass etc.
- Knowledge of instrumenteddrop testing stiffness testing and materialstesting.
- Experience with CAD software such asCreo would be added advantage
- Knowledge ofAnsys software to study Multiphysics behavior would be addedadvantage
- Experience with drop/stiffness testprocedures to combine simulation and test results for cohesivedesign would be addedadvantage
