Role Overview
As a Senior Associate at SKS Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing legal support and guidance to our clients on a wide range of matters. You will be working closely with senior members of the team, as well as directly with clients, to understand their needs and develop effective legal strategies. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by ensuring our clients receive the best possible legal advice and representation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and analysis to provide accurate and timely advice to clients.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and pleadings, to protect client interests.
- Manage and oversee legal due diligence processes for transactions, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Represent clients in negotiations and dispute resolution proceedings, advocating for their best interests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement legal strategies that align with business objectives.
- Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations, advising clients on potential impacts and necessary adjustments.
- Mentor and guide junior associates, fostering their professional development and growth.
Required Skillset
- Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex legal issues.
- Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey legal advice to clients and colleagues.
- Exhibits a thorough understanding of contract law, corporate law, and other relevant legal areas.
- Displays the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
- Holds a Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
- Is admitted to practice law in India.
- Demonstrates the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Exhibits strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Possesses 4-7 years of relevant experience in legal advisory or corporate law.
