    ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    Core Skills

    Strong experience in building and maintaining large-scale, complex cloud network architectures Expertise in advanced cloud networking concepts like network automation, network security, etc. Experience in optimizing cloud networks for performance and scalability Familiarity with serverless architecture and cloud-based development Experience in leading teams of cloud network engineers and providing technical guidance

    · Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS, IPSEC)

    · Monitors network topologies; develops and evaluates alternative utilization or configuration options.

    · Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including firmware, service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.

    · Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.

    · Monitor system resource utilization, latency, bandwidth, availability, system resource trending, and other major metrics of network performance.

    · Provide level-2 and level-3 support for network connectivity issues and troubleshoot to resolution.

    · Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.

    · Liaise with other IT personnel and third-party vendors to resolve major outages and connectivity issues.

    · Continuously develops processes and programs to enhance network performance and reliability.

    · Conducts network testing, supervises technology insertion, and evaluates developmental software applications.

    · Work with Development teams to ensure Azure connectivity and services are configured correctly and follow best practices for security controls.

    · Strong knowledge of Azure network connectivity resources, including application firewalls, virtual firewalls, express route configuration, VNets, network security groups, VPN, private DNS, etc.

    · Assist with support of Citrix NetScaler's and\or other load balancing systems.

    · Assist with configuration and testing of network devices for existing remote sites and all newly acquired sites.

    · Ensure network security by analyzing, evaluating, and pen testing existing architecture and remediating all findings as necessary.
