Role: Senior Software Engineer (Founding Member) - Full-Time

We're a passionate people, currently brainstorming high-impact problem statements with the potential to change the game. We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer with the technical chops to translate the vision into reality and become our founding engineer

This is not your typical "code monkey" role. This is an entrepreneurial journey for a highly motivated individual who thrives in the early stages of startup life. You'll be at the forefront of everything, from validating our problem statements and understanding market size to crafting the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and conducting crucial user interviews.

We're on the hunt for a passionate and skilled engineer to join our founding team as we build a groundbreaking product with the potential to reach millions of users. You'll be a full-time, hands-on player, writing code across the entire tech stack and wielding your product management expertise to bring our vision to life. This is an opportunity to make a real impact, develop diverse skills, and be a key player in the growth story.

You'll Be Responsible For:

• End-to-End Ownership: Conceptualize, design, develop, and deploy features across frontend (ReactJS, React Native, Expo), backend (NodeJS, ExpressJS, MongoDB), and mobile (React Native).
• Scalability Superhero: Craft highly scalable solutions that can handle millions of concurrent users. Your experience building robust Android apps from the ground up (minimum 5 years) is crucial.
• Product Mastermind: Leverage your product management experience to define user needs, roadmap features, and iterate based on data.
• Tech Stack Savvy: Breathe life into the product using the following technologies: Expo, React-Navigation, Apollo GraphQL, ReactJS, NodeJS, MongoDB, Firebase, React Native, React Router, ExpressJS, React Strap, Amplitude
• Collaboration is Key: Work seamlessly with designers and other engineers to translate ideas into reality.

You're a Perfect Fit If You Have:

• Proven experience as a Senior Software engineer or similar role
• Strong understanding of product management principles
• Experience with building and shipping complex software products
• Expertise in the listed technologies (Expo, React-Navigation, Apollo GraphQL, ReactJS, NodeJS, MongoDB, Firebase, React Native, React Router, ExpressJS, React Strap, Amplitude)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• A passion for building innovative products that make a difference

Preferred Candidates:

• Tech Hustlers: Thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and relish wearing multiple hats. You're energized by the challenge of building something innovative from the ground up.
• ESOPs Driven: Understand the value of building something great and believe in the long-term success of the company. You're open to a potential pay cut in exchange for meaningful ownership (equity) in the company.
• Android Aficionado: 5+ years of experience building highly scalable Android apps from scratch is a must.
