    ABOUT YOUR ROLE:

    You will work with all Strategic Marketing function team members, to define and build the organizational and analytical processes that will drive the strategic marketing function for the APAC organization You will also deliver on key analyses, industry insights and business projects, including multiple types of market analysis, competitive analysis, internal financial analysis, modeling, and scenario planning. Maintain and update strategic scorecard and other tools to assess and drive high-quality execution of our organic and inorganic strategy.

    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

    1. Customer and market insights:
      1. Track macro-economic indicators, derive insights from macro data and publish the insights (through multiple innovative platforms) to APAC & SSA countries for business planning
      2. Work with the strategic marketing team to identify business needs, challenges and opportunities. Ensure the analysis is presented in a meaningful and comprehensive way (good understanding of power point, etc.)
    2. Business and strategic planning:
      1. Maintain clear and complete understanding and knowledge on business strategy pillars, business operations and processes. Continuous engagement with multiple stakeholders across functional areas to identify business needs and value creation opportunities.
      2. Recommend new techniques and technologies to achieve the key deliverables of the business.
    3. Market assessment, research and strategic insights:
      1. Raise the bar on use of tools and insight studies to evaluate existing markets in new ways and understand new markets better including macro trends, market sizing, opportunities & threats, changing dynamics, competition and emerging trends.
      2. Engage with internal and external experts to build a base for value creation projects & programs.
    4. Programs and Initiatives:
      1. Perform business analysis and reporting for assigned projects, reviews and presentations.
      2. Contribute in cross functional projects - market evaluation, resource planning, problem solving, operational plan and participate in execution.
    5. Marketing program management:
      1. Determine the dashboards, analysis and data requirements and deliver on them with defined frequency for future business planning & problem solving.
      2. Collaborate with other internal functions (PLT, marcom, R&D, country business and functional teams) to drive joint efforts.
    Qualifications
    • You have a minimum undergraduate degree in economics/ finance/ engineering. MBA will be an added advantage.
    • Experience in Market Intelligence, market research and business planning.
    • Consulting experience is an added advantage.
    • Strong analytical skills, including data analysis and problem solving is a must.
    • Strategic thinking and Innovation mindset, and an ability to read future market trends and needs
    • You demonstrate strong teamwork and relationship building skills. An experience in working with cross functional teams and across geographical boundaries will be a plus.
    • Some experience in key growth enablers such as innovation, sustainability and digitalization will be a plus.
    • You enjoy working in a dynamic, fast paced and ambitious team and work environment and are good at multitasking. You can create value out of new and unstructured ideas, in collaboration with multiple departments / business units.
    • You have solid experience working in a multinational culture in a matrix structure.
    • Your proficiency in leveraging technology and in using excel sheets, presentations, whitepapers and working with business analysis and reporting softwares.
