Description:
Join our dynamic team as an Evaporative Emissions Engineer DRE, where you will be responsible for the design, development, timing, and production release of system/components within Fuel Systems, focusing on vapor Canisters and leak detection components.
This role includes initiatives such as quality improvements, value optimization, weight reduction, and other efficiency enhancements, with regular communication of technical product status to management.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and release system/components within Fuel SystemsCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, testing labs, CAE engineers, and manufacturing plantsLead quality improvements and value optimization initiativesCommunicate technical product status to managementRequirements:Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering3-5 years of design/development automotive engineering experience in Fuel Systems and/or UREANeed experience with Vapor Cannisters, evaporative emissions or chemical vapors.
Self-starter with the ability to work independentlyPreferred Requirements:
Extensive automotive experienceProduct engineering experiencePrototype experienceExperience with DFMEA and DVP&RDFSS Belt certificationSolid understanding of system/component designFamiliarity with NX, TeamCenter, CoDeP, and PLMExperience in Formula SAE, Baja, or similar college projects
