    Role Summary & Role Description

    State Street is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with 5+ years' experience for the Commercial Loan Origination System, which is part of Global Credit Finance (GCF) plays an important role in the overall success of the organization, generating some of the highest margins and return-on-capital within STT via its lending products.

    The candidate has experience in Financial Services, has exposure to Workflow, Transaction and Cash Processing. This is someone who has demonstrable experience in QA Testing,STLC and good to have Automation using Hybrid Framework.

    Role Description/ Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Scrum Master, Product Owner, developers, business analysts and other project team members to assist in carrying out the software quality responsibilities of the Scrum team
  • Create comprehensive test plans with well defined, reusable test cases from business requirements and functional specifications documents
  • Execute manual and automated functional, integration, regression, and performance tests
  • Maintain automated and manual test script libraries for functional, integration, regression, and performance testing
  • Document software defects in the issue tracking system and proactively communicate issues with developers and other project team members
  • Adhere to a testing schedule to ensure efficient and effective product delivery
  • Actively participate in the Agile software development process by adhering to the Scrum methodology including attending all daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
  • Contributing in testing activities and Coordinate Team Members for assigned QA tasks.
  • Strong SQL writing skills for Database Testing to ensure data integrity, validating database consistency and verifying accurate transaction
  • Ability to work in an on-shore/off-shore model working with development teams across continents
  • Mentor junior Team Members/Interns in proper creation and planning of test processes

    Have skills to write complex SQL Queries and execution in IBM Cognos Datnet to Generate Report.
