    We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Manager Global Trade Receivable Quality Manager.

    Principal responsibilities

  • The role will be responsible for completing Quality Assurance checking of key controls across the Global Trade and Receivables Finance product suite.This will include completing checks to validate that transactions have been completed in accordance with procedures and that key risks have been adequately managed, including Financial Crime, Sanctions, Fraud and conduct risk, including charging.
  • The job holder will need to accurately record the output of their testing to enable monitoring of results both on and offshore which drive quality improvements within the teams processing Global Trade and Receivables Finance transactions.
  • In addition to routine testing activity the role holder will also contribute to thematic review testing where assessments are made of specific risk topics, with particular focus on the use of data analytics.
  • Completing Quality Assurance checking of transactions across the range of GTRF products offered, ensuring that they have been processed in accordance with established procedures and that key risks have been appropriately managed.
  • Provide constructive feedback to processing teams, both on and offshore where deficiencies have been identified together with guidance on the relevant learning points.Follow-up of QA results to validate that exceptions have been remediated.
  • Using technical processing knowledge to identify risks and providing solution to these, where required.
  • Proactive supporter of the Team Manager and Team Leaders in completing the department workload within agreed Service Level Agreements
  • Where required, contribute to re-assessment of operational risks and Quality Assurance checks to ensure key risks for the business are being managed, and being reactive to emerging risks.
  • Contribute to thematic reviews of specific risk topics, particularly through the use of data analytical reviews.

  • Graduate from a reputed Institute or University in any discipline
  • 3+ years of experience in Global Trade and Receivables Finance operations including checking of transactions.
  • Excellent knowledge of Global Trade and Receivables Finance operations in terms of technical knowledge, through understanding of GTRF policies, procedures, Internal Controls and Group Compliance Policy including International sanctions.
  • Attention to detail and quick to learn new processes and assess the related risks, especially when looking at unfamiliar topics
  • Excellent knowledge of Global Trade and Receivables Finance Systems (such as HFE, HUB, IFAI and SCS-AI), although an in depth knowledge of all of these systems would not be expected.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to assess large volumes of data and use analytics to identify key deficiencies, root causes and communicate observations
  • Computer literacy (word processing, PowerPoint, and spreadsheets).
