    Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and design new products from concept to production.
    • Conduct research and analysis to understand market needs, competitive products, and emerging technologies.
    • Generate innovative ideas and concepts for product design and development.
    • Create detailed design specifications, CAD models, and engineering drawings using SolidWorks or similar software.
    • Perform feasibility studies, prototyping, and testing to validate product designs and performance.
    • Work closely with manufacturing and production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.
    • Participate in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and problem-solving activities to address design challenges and optimize product performance.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in product design and development.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related field.
    • Proven experience in product design and development, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
    • Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

    Skills:

    • Product Design: Developing innovative and functional product designs.
    • CAD Modeling: Creating detailed 3D models and engineering drawings.
    • Prototyping and Testing: Building prototypes and conducting testing to validate designs.
    • Manufacturing Knowledge: Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
    • Collaboration: Working effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

    Preferred:

    • Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) software.
    • Familiarity with design for manufacturability (DFM) principles.
