The Opportunity

Nature of Employment: Internship

Sportskeeda is hiring interns to help with the operations of the Football team for a duration of 3 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• The Intern will be directly contributing to the Sportskeeda Football Newsroom.
  
• To assist the in-house content team in monitoring social media trends and identifying unique content opportunities, both on and off the pitch.
  
• Should be able to spot trends on social media and monitor online activity of clubs, players, and their partners with the intention of coming up with content ideas from the same.
  

Requirements

• The ideal candidate must be well-versed with football and have excellent command of the English language.
  
• Prior experience in news writing could help, but not mandatory.
  
• Effective communication when it comes to duties and responsibilities is non-negotiable. Willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
  
• Strong research and fact-checking skills, timeliness and attention to detail.
  
• Candidates should be passionate and willing to work in the football media.
  
• Candidates should be social media savvy.
  
• Someone who is available to start immediately and contribute to Sportskeeda Football's content strategy.
  
• Candidates who are comfortable when it comes to learning new skills and adapting to the requirements of a fast-paced newsroom.
  
• Candidate who is willing to work late night shifts and weekends depending on requirement during match days.
