Job Title: Senior Manager - Logistics

Department: Logistics and Intermodal

Reporting To: General Manager - Logistics and Intermodal

Location: Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

• Be able to provide analytical reports to the management on KPI/Cost analysis /Savings

• Build an independent team able to meet CMA CGM internal and external requirements

• Provide cost effective empty supply solutions to meet projected commercial demand

• To ensure effective equipment management and low level of inventory without losing bookings.

• Strong vendor management and procurement knowledge for Logistics/Repair needs

• Cost saving / recovery focus on daily basis on all aspects of logistics

• Instill SOP / process as required by DRO/HO in daily routines

• To audit current process and ensure tight controls in place.

• Lead India team in interactions with DRO/HO

Key Performance Standards

• Optimize Logistics costs including Empty reposition/Drayage/M&R as per target

• Reduce repair cost and expedite repair productivity to meet commercial forecast

• Reduce EMPTY idle time (10 days at Port and 14 days at ICD)

• Improve EDI data quality & reduce time gap

• Implement and measure additional saving/ recovery option as per AGILITY targets

Requirements And Specific Skills:

• Graduate and Good Communication Skills.

• Leadership qualities, for training, motivating and creating an independent team to function

• Good knowledge of latest IICL Criteria and good knowledge of reefer container workings

• Computer savvy and good in Excel/Powerpoint presentations
