    Description

    Overview :

    Job Title : Software Engineer

    Job Summary: Hiring a Software Engineer with 2-6 years of expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining computer software to work in a Bangalore-based, Series A, well-funded footwear brand founded by international shoe experts from the U.S. , Italy, and India.

    The company has been growing by 2x year-on-year with a proven track record in both B2B and E-commerce channels and a growing demand for exports.

    Location : Koramangala, Bangalore

    Job Responsibilities :

    - Develop and maintain software and testing methods for e-commerce platforms, data analytics, and related systems.

    - Maintain a repository of all software changes.

    - Analyse data to effectively coordinate the installation of new systems or the modification of existing systems.

    - Work cross-functionally with departments to communicate project statuses and proposals.

    - Apply best practices and standard operating procedures.

    - Create innovative solutions to meet our company's technical needs.

    Requirement :

    - A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or another related field.

    - Previous experience in software engineering or software development experience, preferably in e-commerce and data analytics.

    - Hands-on programming experience using relevant languages.

    - Experience using relevant tool suites.

    - A comprehensive understanding of computer science concepts.

    - Experience managing the software development lifecycle.

    - Excellent coding skills and extensive knowledge of agile methodologies.

    - Strong team-building skills and creative problem-solving skills.

    - The ability to prioritise activities and deliver projects on time and within budget.

    - Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

    Technical Skills & Requirements :

    Bachelor's/Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

    2-6 years of experience in software engineering or software development, preferably in e-commerce and data analytics.

    Hands-on programming experience with relevant languages (familiarity with languages commonly used in e-commerce and data analytics is a plus).

    Experience using relevant tool suites for software development and data analysis.

    Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and algorithms.

    Experience managing the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

    Excellent coding skills and a deep understanding of agile methodologies.

    Bonus Points :

    Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

    Experience with DevOps practices.

    Experience with building APIs.
