Job Title: Structural Engineer

Job Description:We are looking for a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team. As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of safe, efficient, and sustainable structures for port development projects.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct structural analysis and design calculations to ensure the structural integrity and stability of buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure components.
• Develop structural design drawings, specifications, and construction documents in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate structural designs with overall project plans and objectives.
• Perform site inspections and structural assessments to evaluate existing infrastructure and identify repair or retrofitting needs.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on structural engineering principles, materials selection, and construction techniques.
• Review and approve structural drawings, specifications, and shop drawings submitted by contractors and consultants.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with structural design requirements and quality standards.
• Conduct structural risk assessments and recommend risk mitigation measures to enhance safety and resilience.
• Stay updated on advancements in structural engineering technology, materials, and best practices.
• Mentor junior staff members and provide training on structural engineering concepts and techniques.

Qualifications:

• Masters in Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• M.Phil/Ph.D/Post-Doctoral in the same field is preferable.
• Minimum of 15 years relevant experience in Structural Engineering Design, with experience in designing buildings in seismic zones.
