What will your job look like?
You will
• Work with R&D to provide technical support and guidance during software development
• Handle setup of various SCM (Software Configuration Management) environments and build mechanisms in Amdocs and non-Amdocs environments.
• Optimize the build process: Implement the latest tools and improve existing utilities.
• Craft, configure, install and upgrade environments (e.g. standalone, coordinated, clustered) throughout the product life cycle (Development, Testing, UAT, Production) for internal users.
• Guide R&D teams on DevOps best practices.
• Work on own initiative without micro-management.
All you need is...
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related subject area.
• Vmware Aria Automation 12.x or above administrator with workflow customization experience (Yaml & Python)
• Strong experience with Linux systems. RHCE Certified prefered.
• Scripting experience with bash and any other general programming language like Python or Ruby
• Experience creating and working with containers, as well as using container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, ECS, Openshift and Openstack)
• Experience using configuration management tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Salt)
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools to build, deploy and integrate both infrastructure and applications (Terraform, Cloudformation)
• Fundamental knowledge in networking, operating systems, and package build systems.
• Familiarity with common monitoring, logging, and observability platforms
• Familiarity with CI/CD and testing platforms (Jenkins and other build automation)
• Experience with deployment automation and Infrastructure as Code tools
• Experience with SCM (Git, Bitbucket)
