Description

Software Engineer (Remote, Full-time)

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance FastAPI services. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in Python, a willingness to learn, and an interest in microservices and event-driven architectures.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and reliable Django/FastAPI services
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Python code
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
Participate in code reviews and learn best practices and standards
Troubleshoot and optimize application performance under the guidance of senior team members
Continuously learn and apply new technologies and development trends
Contribute to the adoption of DevOps practices and collaborate with the DevOps team

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Strong foundation in software development, with a focus on Python
Some experience or coursework in developing FastAPI services
Basic understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems
Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable Python code
Familiarity with database design, SQL, and ORM libraries
Interest in learning about Google Cloud Platform and its services
Willingness to learn and adopt DevOps practices, including continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD)
Good problem-solving and debugging skills
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Enthusiasm for learning and growth within the field
Experience with Agile or Scrum development methodologies is a plus
