    JobOverview:
    Weare seeking a skilled Data Engineer with a strong background inmortgage banking to join our IT team. The candidate will beinstrumental in constructing testing and maintaining our mortgagebanking data architecture. This includes optimizing data flow andcollection to ultimately support data analysis and decisionmakingprocesses.


    Responsibilities:
    Design construct install test and maintain highly scalable datamanagement systems. Ensure systems meetbusiness requirements and industry practices for mortgagebanking. Build highperformance algorithmsprototypes predictive models and proof ofconcepts. Translate complex functional andtechnical requirements into detailed architecture design andhighperforming software. Integrate new datamanagement technologies and software engineering tools intoexisting structures.

    Create data tools foranalytics and line of business that assist them in building andoptimizing our product into an innovative industryleader.

    Work with data and analytics expertsto strive for greater functionality in our datasystems. Maintain a secure and compliantdata processing environment in line with industryregulations.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Engineering or arelated field. Proven experience as a DataEngineer preferably in the mortgage bankingindustry.

    Strong knowledge of datawarehousing solutions and relational SQL and NoSQL databasesSnowflake MS SQL Server a plus Experiencewith AWS cloud services:

    EC2 RDS MSK LambdaExperience with objectoriented/object function scripting languagesa plus Solid analytical skills and theability to understand complex businessrequirements.


    Familiarity with data pipelineand workflow management tools:
    dbt Apache Kafka Snowflake datapipeline/streams Knowledge of financial andmortgage banking principles. Strongorganizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to managetasks and timelineseffectively.
