    About this role:


    Wells Fargo is seeking a skilled Mid-Level Technical Writer specializing in model documentation and KPI reporting within Customer Excellence Data and Analytics (CEDA).

    The role involves creating clear and detailed documentation for financial models, algorithms, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

    Our organization, Customer Excellence Data and Analytics (CEDA), sits within Enterprise Complaints and Remediations (ECR) and focuses on being Wells Fargo's leading data and analytics organization in solving business problems, finding actionable insights, proactively mitigating risk, and enabling operational excellence.

    CEDA supports the Wells Fargo enterprise with business enablement and analytics that solve problems, drive efficiency and sustain a
    strong risk and control environment. We use our expansive knowledge of data to operationalize analytic solutions.


    In this role, you will:
    . Create comprehensive documentation for financial models, algorithms, and data processes, including data dictionaries, technical specifications, and workflow diagrams.
    . Collaborate with data scientists, risk analysts, and compliance experts to understand model functionalities, data sources, and regulatory requirements.
    . Develop user-friendly guides and manuals for model implementation, usage, and ongoing maintenance in alignment with banking industry standards and best practices.
    . Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations for tracking KPIs, financial performance metrics, and risk indicators.
    . Collaborate with stakeholders to define relevant KPIs, establish benchmarks, and analyze trends to support strategic decision-making and regulatory compliance.
    . Conduct reviews of KPI data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability for internal reporting and external audits.
    . Ensure all model documentation, reporting practices, and data governance policies comply with banking regulations, industry standards, and internal guidelines.
    . Stay updated with regulatory changes, industry trends, and emerging technologies related to model documentation, KPI reporting, and risk management in the banking sector.


    Required Qualifications:
    . Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Technical Writer or similar role in the banking

    or financial services industry, focusing on model documentation and KPI reporting or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

    . A self starter with ability to drive projects with little to no direction.


    Desired Qualifications:
    . Strong understanding of financial modeling concepts, risk management principles, and regulatory requirements in the banking sector.
    . Proficiency in documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools
    . Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in clear and concise language.
    . Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and quality in
    documentation and reporting.
    . Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Data Scientists, risk analysts, compliance officers, and business stakeholders.
    . Understand Machine Learning Model Development and Model Operations' Principles and Practices
    . Understand Lifecycle of Model Development Model - model building, training, tuning, scoring and evaluation.
