Position Summary:
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting our various business objectives.
You will collaborate directly with all members of the Engineering team and key individuals from other business units, lead the requirements discovery process, lead interactive prototyping sessions, build required data models, and prepare the models for release to production.
You will utilize several different software tools and architectures to accomplish these objectives.The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to consistently engineer data-driven models and solutions that solve problems and identify opportunities to drive operational excellence.

The qualifications listed below are representative of the academic, leadership, and teamwork requirements: - Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent experience
Preferred degrees:
MIS, Economics, Operations Research. - 6+ years total experience, including at least 4 years in technical/analytical roles. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong teamwork, and work ethic. - Analyst level proficiency in SQL querying (MS SQL Server preferred). - Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Excel 2013 preferred). Familiarity with some (not all) of the following technologies: - Basic programming skills: Java, Python, Perl, C#, etc. - Experience with business intelligence tools: Tableau, Spotfire, Microstrategy, QlikView, Cognos, or other BI data discovery tools. - Linux (Ubuntu or CentOS). - SAS, JMP, R, or similar. - AWS and Azure cloud-based technologies.
