- Handle Kafka security – authentication and authorization
- Managing, configuring, and optimizing a cluster for performance
- Ability to install, maintain and troubleshoot Kafka
- Perform Optimization and tuning
- Experience with the Confluent version of Kafka and its many related components
- Perform physical deployment of infrastructure across multiple environments
- Provide support for development teams that are utilizing the platform
- Analyse issues with Kafka software and provide detailed solutions
- Design and implement Kafka-based applications and solutions
- Provide issue analysis on Kafka applications
- In-depth knowledge of all the functionalities surrounding Kafka
- Ability to set up and configure Kafka brokers
- Experience with Kafka Connector and Apache Zookeeper
- Maintain performance of applications and databases
- Translate written requirements and specifications
