Description

We are seeking a dedicated Performance Test Engineer with expertise in performance testing and performance engineering. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Apache JMeter and BlazeMeter, coupled with excellent monitoring skills using Dynatrace and Grafana. You will be responsible for executing performance tests, analyzing results, and contributing to performance engineering efforts to optimize system performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Performance Test Execution: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive performance tests using Apache JMeter and BlazeMeter.
• Performance Engineering: Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify performance bottlenecks, propose solutions, and implement performance engineering best practices.
• Monitoring & Analysis: Utilize Dynatrace and Grafana for advanced monitoring during test execution and production, analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) and system behavior.
• Reporting & Recommendations: Analyze test results, generate detailed performance reports, and provide actionable recommendations for system optimization and capacity planning.
• Scripting & Tooling: Develop and maintain performance test scripts, scenarios, and test data.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot performance-related issues, working closely with various teams to resolve them efficiently.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in performance testing and engineering to continuously enhance our testing capabilities.

Required Skills and Experience

• Extensive hands-on experience with Apache JMeter for test script development and execution.
• Proven experience with BlazeMeter for scalable performance testing.
• Strong monitoring skills using Dynatrace for application performance monitoring.
• Proficiency with Grafana for data visualization and dashboard creation.
• Solid understanding of performance testing methodologies, types, and metrics.
• Ability to analyze complex system architectures and identify potential performance risks.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
