    ​​ Position Overview:

    We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Analyst in the field of Marketing and Web Analytics to join our team.

    The ideal candidate will possess strong technical proficiency in various analytics tools, coupled with a deep understanding of marketing strategies and web analytics methodologies.

    The Analyst (Platform Lead) will play a crucial role in owning and optimizing our data tools, driving actionable insights, and contributing to strategic decision-making processes.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Data

    Tools Ownership:

    Take ownership of a suite of data tools, including but not limited to Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Customer Data Platform (CDP), Cookie Pro, and other relevant platforms.

    Ensure the smooth operation, configuration, and optimization of these tools to meet business objectives.

    Stay updated with the latest features and capabilities of these tools and implement best practices for data collection and analysis.


    Analytics Strategy Development:
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement analytics strategies aligned with business goals.
    Utilize advanced analytical techniques to uncover insights and opportunities for optimization across various marketing channels and web platforms.

    Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish benchmarks to track and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and website performance.

    Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and IT, to drive alignment and execution of analytics initiatives.

    Act as a subject matter expert in marketing and web analytics, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.


    Strategic Planning and Execution:
    Contribute to the development of the overall marketing strategy and roadmap by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
    Drive the execution of analytics projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timelines.

    Conduct training for new tools and regular workshops to increase the adoption and familiarity with our tools amongst business owners and analysts.

    Create framework or plan to find the adoption rate of tools or technology, and business users satisfaction with overall tools and technologyMonitor and evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives, making adjustments as necessary to optimize results and ROI.


    Innovation and Experimentation:

    Champion a culture of experimentation and innovation within the analytics team, encouraging the exploration of new tools, methodologies, and approaches.

    Collaborate with the broader analytics community to stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in marketing and web analytics.
    Spearhead the implementation of new analytics initiatives and technologies to enhance our competitive edge and drive continuous improvement.

    Technical Proficiency:

    Demonstrate hands-on expertise in utilizing analytics tools and technologies, including data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), SQL, Python/R, and Excel.

    Ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets to derive meaningful insights and create data-driven solutions.

    Continuous Improvement:
    Proactively identify opportunities to enhance data collection processes, reporting frameworks, and analytical methodologies.
    Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing analytics and web optimization.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
    Proven experience (7 years) working in a marketing analytics or web analytics role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

    Strong technical skills with proficiency in analytics tools such as Google Analytics / Adobe Analytics, Customer Data Platform (CDP), Cookie Pro etc.

    Hands-on experience with data manipulation, visualization, and analysis using SQL, Python/R, Excel, and data visualization tools.
    Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
    Effective communication skills with the ability to present complex findings in a clear and concise manner.
    Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
