    Role Overview

    The Team Leader – Legal Back Office (LBO) will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring SLA adherence, driving quality and productivity, and leading a team of associates delivering legal back-office services. This role requires strong people management, analytical capability, and hands-on operational leadership.



    Key Responsibilities

    Team & Operations Management

    • Manage day-to-day planning, workflow, and operations for a team of 10–15 associates

    • Ensure consistent delivery of quality, productivity, CPM, and SLA targets

    • Independently handle process transitions, new procedures, and updates

    • Monitor attendance, scheduling, and attendance-linked incentives

    Performance & Quality Management

    • Track and analyze individual and team performance using dashboards and MIS reports

    • Conduct regular one-on-one feedback sessions, coaching, and performance reviews

    • Conduct audits, identify gaps, and share actionable feedback with team members

    • Drive continuous improvement based on data analysis, customer feedback, and internal audits

    Client & Stakeholder Management

    • Act as the primary communication bridge between clients, management, and the team

    • Manage assigned client portfolios and ensure client expectations are met

    • Prepare and submit internal and external operational reports and reviews on time

    People Development & Engagement

    • Own training, development, and upskilling of team members

    • Motivate associates through career development plans and performance recognition

    • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and client-centric team culture

    Compliance & Governance

    • Ensure adherence to HR policies, operational guidelines, and compliance standards

    • Drive floor discipline and schedule adherence

    • Identify risks and recommend process enhancements proactively



    Eligibility & Qualifications

    • Graduate (Mandatory)

    • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Team Leader (on papers) in Legal Back Office / Back Office operations

    • Strong experience in people management, SLA handling, and reporting

    • Willingness to work in a 24×7 rotational shift environment

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Strong analytical skills with good working knowledge of MS Excel, dashboards, and presentations
