- Manage CMS require oversight of in-home, at-risk Medicare member care management programs through chart audit and NCQA on-site visits.
- Lead the planning, organization, execution, and analysis of coding, billing, HIPAA, and OSHA audits.
- Manage diagnostic and procedural coding for emergency department, outpatient, observation, and ancillary services for a general hospital.
- Provide SharePoint development and administration, budget and financial reporting; manage invoicing; and develop training manuals and user guides.
- Experience in dental CPT and ICD-9, as well as medical CPT and ICD-9 coding.
- Assist in training and transition to new EMR and billing software.
- Prepare and submit FDA 510k documents on new and existing products.
- Demonstrate knowledge of ICD-9-CM and CPT coding guidelines, medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Offer information and guidance with EHR implementation (but not to carry out such an implementation).
- Provide support and assistance to clinicians during go live clinical implementation of EMR (electronic medical record).
- Provide accounts receivable management, account payable management, surgery coding, HIPAA compliance audits and training to various medical practices.
- Establish new medical centers like surgery centers and clinics and help these new businesses with accreditation, supply and equipment purchasing.
- Assure compliance on Medicaid applications; provide patients with eligibility compliance information.
- Work with marketing department on developing collateral materials and packaging for future FDA approval.
- Provide consultation to providers regarding Medicare, Medicaid and commercial reimbursement methodologies and billing to obtain maximum benefits.
